This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. - Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Managing case files and maintaining case calendars.
- Preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Preparing trial notebooks and exhibits.
- Summarizing depositions, medical records, and other discovery materials.
- Coordinating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
- Assisting attorneys with law and motion practice.
- Assisting in the preparation of case settlements and trial preparations.
- Performing administrative duties such as docketing, filing, and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Experience with depositions, hearings, legal writing, legal research, docketing, law and motion practice, pleadings, and calendaring.
- Experience in preparing hearings, medical, and trial notebooks.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and criminal defense.
- Ability to summarize depositions and testimony effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
