Forward Deployed Engineer

Our Mission

Super.AI is a cutting-edge platform transforming how enterprises manage complex, document-centric workflows through Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). By combining advanced AI models—including LLMs and OCR—with a scalable human-in-the-loop system, Super.AI delivers guaranteed outcomes across quality, speed, and cost. Trusted by leading organizations in financial services, insurance, logistics, and testing and certification, the platform helps clients reduce manual effort, minimize errors, accelerate decision‑making, and unlock substantial cost savings. At Super.AI, we foster a fast‑paced, innovative, and collaborative culture where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to make a real impact. It’s a fun and rewarding environment where ambitious people thrive and grow.

About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success—helping our clients deploy intelligent document automation at scale. You’ll lead technical discovery, design solutions, and drive end‑to‑end implementation of Super.AI’s platform, working directly with enterprise customers to ensure they unlock maximum value.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops with enterprise customers, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable architectures.
• Architect, configure, and deploy intelligent document automation solutions using Super.AI’s platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Act as both a trusted technical advisor and hands‑on builder, guiding customers with confidence while directly contributing to solution delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, channeling customer insights into meaningful enhancements that shape Super.AI’s roadmap.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise engagements, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and change requests with professionalism and care.
• Develop reusable solution components and document best practices, contributing to internal accelerators, playbooks, and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor customer and partner teams, fostering technical proficiency in Super.AI’s capabilities, integrations, and workflow automation best practices.
• Demonstrate strong technical acumen across APIs, databases, and enterprise integration patterns, always with an eye toward simplicity, innovation, and long‑term success.
• Support customer workshops and deployments with professionalism and enthusiasm; occasional travel may be required.

You’ll be happy with this job if you

• Love working with customers to solve real‑world challenges through AI and automation.
• Thrive in fast‑paced, high‑growth startup environments where priorities evolve quickly.
• Enjoy owning projects end‑to‑end—from whiteboard sessions to production rollouts.
• See collaboration, feedback, and curiosity as fuel for personal and professional growth.

You won’t be happy with this job if you

• Prefer rigid processes and highly structured environments.
• Are uncomfortable with ambiguity or shifting priorities.
• Don’t enjoy direct customer engagement or problem‑solving.
• Resist feedback or lack interest in continuous learning.

You are the ideal candidate if you

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, automation consulting, solutions architecture, or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise integrations (APIs, databases, workflow tools) and modern automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, OCR, and prompt engineering.
• Strong programming or scripting skills for data manipulation (Python preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments with multiple parallel projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent proficiency in professional written and spoken English.
• Location: Must be based in the Denver, CO area with the ability to work a hybrid in‑office/remote schedule.

About Us

• We believe AI is going to be the most impactful technology ever invented. It may be the last technology we ever needed to invent as humans. Our technology promises to transform the way AI is created and consumed to make this vision possible.
• We are searching for the best‑of‑the‑best to build a massive company, but at the same time a company where people are happy with their lives, feel healthy, passionate and satisfied.
• We’re at an inflection point, so you will have the opportunity to shape things and see the company grow.
• Although super.AI is young, this is not our first rodeo: our CEO previously founded a few hundred person company, and between us we've held senior positions at Google, Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, Docusign and others.
