Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Deliver comprehensive assessments, treatments, and interventions aligned with unit policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine immediate needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information and clinical interventions accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support skills.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 3-5 years of emergency department experience in an acute care hospital.
• Possess current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills.
• Have experience working with Phillips equipment and Meditech EMR.
• Prior travel or interim CA hospital experience is preferred.
• Be a team-oriented professional with excellent communication skills.
