Drug & Alcohol Program Specialist

Job Description

• Schedule and notify employees of random drug and alcohol tests

• Contact new hires to coordinate pre employment drug testing

• Assist with previous employer information for incoming and exiting employees

• Track leave of absence information and update records quarterly

• Gather and maintain documentation required for FAA compliance

• Review PRD (Pilot Records Database) reports

• Audit forms, identify errors, and ensure regulatory accuracy

• Maintain detailed Excel tracking documents

Skills and Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

• Working knowledge of FAA and/or DOT regulations

• Experience creating and maintaining confidential employee files

• Experience supporting safety sensitive employee populations

• Strong Excel skills (data review, corrections, tracking)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to review regulatory forms, identify errors, and make corrections

• Familiarity with FAA file creation and ATF/PRD documentation
