PC Build Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a PC Build Technician to join our team! You will build custom gaming and workstation computers, as well as diagnose hardware/software issues.

Responsibilities:

Building, upgrading, and diagnosing custom gaming/workstation computers.
Providing customers with broken systems expert diagnostics and repairs using a mix of hardware and software tools.
Proficiently operating our sales/inventory software as you provide expert opinions/advice to customers looking to buy, upgrade, or repair PCs.
Providing industry-leading customer service and consultation to all customers.

Qualifications:

Ability to provide excellent customer service, build rapport with customers, and conduct sales.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on professional PC hardware experience OR an Associate’s Degree in a technical field.
Strong knowledge of modern PC components, compatibility, thermal management, BIOS configuration, and chipset/platform differences.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to the laymans' terms.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills while balancing sales responsibilities and bench work.
Passion for PC gaming, custom systems, and technology.
