Brake Press Operator

Our Mayville client is looking for skilled Brake Press Operators to join their fabrication team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality American manufacturing, we want to talk to you.

Position – Brake Press Operator

Job Location – Mayville, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd shift

Starting Pay –$17 to $20/hr

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

As a Brake Press Operator, you are the backbone of our forming department. You won’t just be pushing buttons; you’ll be ensuring every bend is perfect.

Setup & Operation: Select correct tooling (dies and punches) and program the CNC controller based on blueprints.
Precision Bending: Perform complex bends on various gauges of steel and aluminum while maintaining tight tolerances.
Quality Control: Use calipers, protractors, and squares to verify that parts meet exact specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine checks to keep our equipment running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience operating a CNC Brake Press (Amada, Trumpf, or Cincinnati preferred).
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and 3D drawings.
Math Skills: Comfort with shop math, including decimals and angles.
Reliability: A "get-it-done" attitude and a commitment to showing up for your team.
