Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer for a 12-week travel contract in Parkland, FL. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in patient evaluation and treatment while ensuring excellent patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established facility protocols.
• Conduct specialized breast ultrasound diagnostic imaging in addition to general sonography.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams.
• Maintain equipment, document imaging results, and collaborate effectively with clinical care teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active ARDMS Sonographer License required.
• Experience: Breast Ultrasound Diagnostic experience is required. X-Ray Tech experience is a plus.
• Certification: Active BLS (AHA required).
• Education: High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree transcript/diploma required.
• Other: Must be willing to complete fit testing.
