Registered Nurse NICU

$2080.80/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborns in a Level II NICU setting. Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and family support during crucial early life stages.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and respiratory support such as nasal CPAP and surfactant.
• Perform procedures including umbilical line maintenance, TPN administration, and oxygen therapy.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, following established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Educate and support families, fostering family-centered care and communication.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Compact state RN license at submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of NICU experience at Level 2 or higher.
• Be current with NRP and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal procedures and equipment.
• Display strong teamwork, effort, and a positive attitude.
• Prefer candidates with additional certifications or experience in post-partum care or delivery attendance.
