Position Overview We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute various diagnostic procedures, work alongside an encouraging team of healthcare professionals, and bring serenity to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, communicating each step with clarity and empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any operational issues
- Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
