Job Description\n Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2232\n $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - ER\n Job Details:\n • 13-week contract with an ASAP start date\n • 12-hour day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM\n • Guaranteed 36 hours per week\n • Every other weekend and every other holiday required\n • Possibility for on-call shifts, which would be requested in advance but would rarely occur\n • No float requirements\n • Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience required\n • Prior travel experience preferred; if no prior travel experience, 2 years of Trauma Level I or II experience is required\n • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)\n • EPIC charting experience required\n • Pyxis medication dispenser experience preferred\n • Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and working in a fast-paced Trauma Level II environment\n • Unit includes 18 beds and covers stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, respiratory, and more\n • 3 to 4 patients per nurse ratio\n • X-ray staff and respiratory therapy available on-site in the emergency department\n • Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner\n • Scrub color: Any color\n • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred\n Facility:\n This is a Trauma Level II facility with an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of patient populations including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases. The emergency department operates at a fast pace and is supported by in-house laboratory services, respiratory therapy, and on-site X-ray staffing.
