Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC , a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital to provide speech therapy services. This position is full-time, 40-hour week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

\nResponsibilities \n

- \n
- Assess and diagnose: Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify disorders such as articulation problems, aphasia, stuttering, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). \n
- Develop treatment plans: Create and carry out personalized therapy plans with specific, measurable goals to address individual functional needs. \n
- Provide therapy: Teach clients how to make sounds, improve voice quality, maintain fluency, and develop communication strategies. This includes using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe challenges. \n
- Educate and support: Teach patients and their families about their condition and provide counseling, training, and support. \n
- Collaborate: Work with other professionals, such as physicians, teachers, and other therapists, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach. \n
- Maintain records: Keep detailed, accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information. Records shall be completed within 24 hours of patient visit. \n
- Other duties as assigned. \n
Qualifications \n

- \n
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). \n
- Completed a clinical fellowship. \n
- Passed the Praxis exam \n
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification. \n
