Required Skills & ExperienceQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience as a facility technician working within semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical environment. Experience working with control systems Experience working within facilities (HVAC/ boilers/ chiller/ air bulk handlers) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with attention to detail and safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Facility Technician to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a foundry for semiconductor microsystems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot semiconductor manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure and production tools. Support the introduction of new products and processes by collaborating with engineering and operations teams. Maintain accurate logs and documentation of equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational metrics. Respond promptly to alarms, system alerts, and emergency situations to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
