Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Brighton, MA Boston Medical Center - Brighton (BMC-Brighton) is seeking a per-diem physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their emergency team. Boston Medical Center - Brighton is a 267-bed academic community teaching hospital affiliated with the Tufts Medical School. Our department is staffed by a dedicated group of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians, residents and physician assistants. Residents in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery and Psychiatry rotate in the ED. Responsibilities: Detailed Patient Histories: Obtain comprehensive patient histories, meticulously documenting medical, social, and family backgrounds to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Thorough Physical Examinations: Perform comprehensive physical examinations to evaluate patients for admission, utilizing advanced clinical skills to identify and assess medical conditions. A Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants is required or master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner’s Program. Current Massachusetts license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively alongside our emergency physicians and Emergency Medicine residents.
