Hiring: Senior Testing and Change Management Consultant

Location: Omaha, NE ( Onsite – 5 Days a Week )

Experience: 7–15 Years

We are seeking an experienced Senior Testing and Change Management Consultant to support high-priority solution delivery through structured testing, change management, release planning, and customer-facing cutover execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test planning, defect management, organizational readiness, deployment coordination, and stakeholder communication , with a focus on minimizing business disruption and maintaining customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive test plans to support successful solution delivery and business readiness.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align testing activities with business objectives.
• Lead testing activities across planning, execution, tracking, defect management, and status reporting.
• Coordinate change management activities, including stakeholder communications, training, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness.
• Create and execute release, deployment, and cutover plans that minimize business disruption.
• Plan and manage customer-facing cutovers, ensuring business users, operations, support teams, and technology partners are prepared.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout testing, deployment, cutover, and post-release support.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to testing gaps, user readiness, customer experience, and business continuity.
• Facilitate readiness checkpoints, status meetings, go/no-go discussions, and post-implementation reviews.
• Communicate release status, risks, dependencies, and readiness updates to stakeholders at all levels.
• Coordinate training, communications, support materials, and transition activities.
• Ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes while maintaining operational continuity.
• Track defects, manage issues, and coordinate resolution before production releases.
• Maintain documentation for test results, release readiness, cutover activities, and post-implementation findings.

• 7–15 years of relevant experience in testing, change management, release management, deployment coordination, or solution delivery.
• Strong experience developing and managing comprehensive test plans.

• Stakeholder communications and training coordination.

• Understanding of business continuity and operational impact.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Omaha, NE, five days per week .
