With flexible scheduling and multiple opportunities available, this role is ideal for those seeking to work 28 hours per week, with options to combine hours in nearby Dayton (24- or 16-hour contracts) if desired.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP documentation and related compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting children’s success
• For COTAs: Availability of OT supervision can be arranged

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per IEPs
• Evaluate students to assess needs and recommend interventions
• Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized therapy goals
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student engagement and achievement
• Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Travel between school sites nearby if combining contracts for additional hours
