Human Resources Generalist

We're partnering with a well-established organization seeking an HR Generalist who enjoys balancing both people-focused and operational HR responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to support talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll support, and day-to-day employee relations.

The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.

Job Duties

• 
  Drive recruiting efforts from sourcing through hiring, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent
  
  



• 
  Manage onboarding activities to ensure a positive and compliant new hire experience
  
  



• 
  Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment screening processes
  
  



• 
  Support employee benefits programs, including enrollment activities and annual open enrollment
  
  



• 
  Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
  
  



• 
  Assist employees and managers with general HR questions and policy interpretation
  
  



• 
  Support payroll processing and timekeeping functions as needed
  
  



• 
  Help administer workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other employment-related matters
  
  



• 
  Participate in employee offboarding activities, including separation documentation and exit discussions
  
  



• 
  Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives that support organizational growth
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  
  



• 
  Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
  
  



• 
  Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment law, and compliance practices
  
  



• 
  Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
  
  



• 
  Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  
  



• 
  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information professionally
  
  



• 
  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
