Cardiovascular Technician

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join a busy Cath Lab and Electrophysiology unit. The candidate will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult to geriatric patients, ensuring high-quality patient care and procedural success.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor advanced cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic equipment during procedures.
• Obtain and interpret EKG rhythms, including sinus node rhythms and pacemaker functioning.
• Assist with device implants, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and other interventional procedures.
• Ensure patient vitals are accurately obtained and maintained throughout procedures.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certifications.
• Document procedures accurately within Epic and other facility systems.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or EP lab setting.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and other cardiovascular equipment.
• Be licensed in GA or possess a valid Compact RN license.
• Exhibit strong skills in rhythm interpretation, vitals assessment, and device troubleshooting.
