Speech And Language Pathologist Opportunity

Embark on an impactful opportunity supporting young learners by providing speech and language services at two elementary school sites located near Athol, ID. This full-time contract role offers the chance to work closely with students, families, and staff, making a meaningful contribution to each child's educational journey. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule of 7 to 8 hours a day, across 4 to 5 days each week, focusing your expertise on a manageable caseload of around 50 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure for Idaho or eligibility to obtain credentials
• Experience providing speech services within a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
• Competence with a range of assessment tools and therapy techniques
• Flexibility, strong organization, and reliability
• Teletherapy experience is valued, though in-person availability is required for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to students in-person at two elementary campuses
• Evaluate students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs), including measurable goals and objectives
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for a defined caseload
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to deliver effective interventions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
• Support students' communication skills to help them succeed academically and socially
