The student CNC Machinist position provides high school students with hands‑on machinist experience in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (lathes, mills) to complete precision machining tasks under guidance. Learn to read technical drawings and work instructions Observe machining processes to learn programming and tooling concepts Follow all shop safety rules and machine guarding requirements Education & Experience Must be a current high school senior or enrolled in a CNC programming, machining, or robotics school program. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to work in a high‑paced, hands‑on environment with shifting priorities.
