Windows System Admin (Azure Cloud)
We're looking for a mid-level Windows system administrator with strong Azure cloud expertise and hands-on migration experience from on-prem to Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of enterprise-level experience supporting hybrid or cloud-native environments, with solid knowledge of Azure governance, IaaS/PaaS optimization, and cloud-first best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven hands-on experience migrating workloads, servers, and services from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure cloud (using Azure Migrate, ASR, or similar tools).
- Administer and maintain Windows server and Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, and security).
- Implement and manage Azure governance, policy, and RBAC for secure, compliant operations.
- Optimize Azure IaaS and PaaS costs and performance through monitoring and automation.
- Support automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep templates.
- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure successful deployments.
- Apply cloud first best practices and the Azure Well-Architected Framework for operational excellence.
