Operations Specialist III

We are a national staffing firm currently seeking an EHS Specialist for a prominent client. This position is located in Johns Creek, GA . Position Details: $45/hr based on experience This is an onsite role 12+ month contract with potential extension or conversion based on performance and budget Responsibilities: Ensure site compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, permits, statutes, local ordinances, and other external requirements Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Alcon Global HSE policies and procedures Provide effective HSE services to the site Assist the primary site contact on HSE issues with regulatory authorities Support development and maintenance of an effective HSE Management System and related programs (e.g., Chemical Safety, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Compliance, Occupational Health, Alcon Crisis Management) Support incident response procedures Support the site's risk management program, including Risk Register development and review Ensure compliance of documents, programs, and systems with external agency requirements Implement and maintain global HSE procedures as assessed by internal audits Achieve HSE indicators and program goals within timelines Maintain satisfaction of site HSE officers, customers, and global HSE teams regarding program effectiveness and timeliness Close out audit and agency findings timely to prevent recurrence Complete required reports thoroughly and on time Minimum Qualifications: Degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational health, medicine, engineering, or related field; technical apprenticeships or certifications may be acceptable depending on the country At least 3 years of professional HSE experience; recent graduates with internships or similar experience may be considered If interested, please respond to this posting with your resume attached. #J-18808-Ljbffr
