INTAKE LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL (Bilingual Spanish & English)

Fast-paced plaintiff law firm located in downtown Memphis seeking a reliable full-time intake legal assistant or paralegal. This is an in-office position. However, after successfully completing a 90-day probationary period, you will be eligible to work from home one day per week.
Duties:
Answer and screen phone calls and emails from prospective clients
Collect and input client information into the firm’s database
Provide accurate, timely responses to client inquiries
Assist clients with completing and submitting electronic signatures
Prepare detailed intake summaries
Send initial correspondence and documentation
Lexis searches
Request police reports
Communicate with insurance companies and open insurance claims
Review and track video and other case-related evidence
Scan and organize incoming mail and documents
Provide back-up coverage for receptionist as needed
Serve as an office runner when necessary
Perform additional administrative and case-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a legal support or administrative role preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and multitask effectively
Must be punctual, dependable, and professional
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
