Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Truck Unloader to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and accurately unloading trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are properly stored and prepared for distribution. Duties Safely unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damages, and proper documentation. Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update inventory management systems. Organize and store products efficiently in designated warehouse locations, maintaining proper stacking and labeling. Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for outbound deliveries or internal transfers. Maintain cleanliness of the unloading area, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and ensure timely processing of shipments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Perform light maintenance on equipment as needed and report any issues to supervisors. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures. Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and merchandising tasks. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse teams. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout shifts. Knowledge of retail sales processes, grocery store operations, or produce handling is advantageous. Effective teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required. Basic retail math skills for accurate counting, pricing, and inventory adjustments. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
