Activity Assistant - Silvis Center Rehab and Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging and stimulating activities that promote socialization, cognitive function, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational programs and activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and social events
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a warm and welcoming environment
Collaborate with the activities director and other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective activities program
Provide ongoing assessments of resident needs and preferences, and adapt activities to meet individual needs and interests
Maintain accurate records of activities, resident participation, and progress
