Veterinary Technician - Emergency

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our Overnight Emergency team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Scottsdale, AZ.


About You

Y ou'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end- to- end care for our emergency patients during critical overnight hours. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of triaging urgent cases, assisting with emergency procedures, and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)

• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred

• Experience in an Emergency Veterinary setting preferred

• Has ability to work overnight shifts with rotating weekends

• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)

• Possesses a positive work attitude

• Self-motivated

• Excellent communication and organization skills
