Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team! As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, Occupational Therapist (OTR) will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by helping them to achieve their maximum functional abilities. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we're looking for a talented Occupational Therapist (OTR) to help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement occupational therapy programs to address the needs of our residents, including but not limited to rehabilitation, mobility, and daily living skills
Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify resident needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy services to residents in various settings, including but not limited to individual and group sessions, as well as in-home and community-based settings
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
Document resident progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, interventions, and outcomes
Participate in resident and staff education, as well as quality improvement initiatives
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of our residents
