Med Surg RN

BOS Medical Staffing is looking for contracted nurses to work in an Medical Surgical setting. Shifts are available immediately. Available Hours: PRN 7A-7P 7P-7A. Responsibilities Conducts an assessment of patient’s condition (i.e., physical, emotional, age, etc.), documents assessment findings, and, in conjunction with medical notes, develops a plan of care. Serves as a clinical leader, implementing nursing concepts, conducting patient conferences, and assisting in directing, orienting, and teaching student nurses, Nursing Assistants, LPNs, and other ancillary personnel. Participate in discharge planning process. Perform a focused interview to identify specific patient needs. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’ s condition. Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Other nursing duties as assigned.
