Job Details Job Location: 999 Corporate in Santa Fe Springs - Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 Salary Job Category: Corporate The Associate Buyer – Accessories (Omni) position at Windsor is one that focuses on supporting the Buyer in all areas including vendor communication, negotiation, style selection, inventory management and have a strong command of the on order. As an Associate Buyer this person will take ownership of specific categories. This is a high energy, multi-tasking position that requires the Associate Buyer to not only work closely with the Buyer, but one that also partner with all cross functional teams well to accomplish team objectives. In terms of professional development, we hope to see our Associate Buyers develop a true understanding of the Windsor customer, culture, and buying philosophy. The roadmap for growth as an Associate Buyer is one that can lead to a higher position in Buying, Planning, or other corporate positions that may arise. Job Responsibilities Attends vendor appointments and pulls product to review with the buyer Request all style information necessary for making business decisions Own and oversee specific accessory categories, ensuring smooth execution and performance Write orders with Buyer approval Prepare & attend all style out meetings & take detailed notes Review & approve/reject TOP samples, PP samples or fit samples Review Selling Report and suggest reorders Maintain Ladder Programs on a weekly basis Set up product for monthly meetings with Marketing, Social Media, Visuals, & other cross functioning partners. Is proficient at reading and understanding reports that are important for the business Create Excel and BI reports as necessary Attends Business Review and OTB Meetings Attends concept meeting and takes pictures if necessary Respond to emails within 1 business day Assists AP with PO invoices or any issues Attend trade shows/market trips as needed Key Qualifications & Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in an Associate / Sr Assistant buyer role in Accessories is preferred Analytical and retail math knowledge Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment Ability to make fast decisions and calculated risks Ability to negotiate well Microsoft Excel knowledge Physical/Environmental Demands and Overtime & Availability: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Adequate movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Team members are required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
