Our Client Located in Alpharetta, GA is a growing organization is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator bilingual in English/Spanish to manage accurate and timely payroll operations for approximately 451 employees across two company payrolls . This position reports directly to the HR Manager and includes limited HR-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is independent, process-driven, and experienced in managing multi-state payroll for a similarly sized organization. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred due to the needs of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently process accurate biweekly, multi-state payroll
• Manage payroll for two related companies
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Process bonuses, commissions, compensation adjustments, promotions, and anniversary-based increases
• Conduct employee expense audits
• Administer wage garnishments as needed
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information
• Coordinate with the third-party tax provider and ensure payroll-tax compliance
• Respond professionally to employee payroll questions
• Assist the HR Manager with light HR and administrative responsibilities
• Identify process improvements and help maintain organized payroll procedures
• Support future payroll-system transitions and implementations

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of payroll experience
• Hands-on experience with Netchex is required
• Experience processing payroll for a similarly sized organization
• Multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Willingness to learn UKG or Paylocity if the organization transitions systems
• Demonstrated employment stability, with multiple years of service in previous positions
• Must be willing and able to work on-site Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with UKG or Paylocity
• Experience processing commissions, bonuses, garnishments, and compensation changes
• Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving organization

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Work Arrangement: 100% on-site
• Salary Range: $62,500–$70,000 annually
• Direct Reports: None
