If you’re dependable, safety-first, and energized by a steady pace, this role puts you at the heart of the action.What your shift looks likeYou’ll start with a quick equipment check, confirm priorities, then dive into the flow of the warehouse—supplying production, staging outbound loads, and keeping inventory accurate.Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently throughout warehouse and production areasLoad, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and palletsPick and prepare shipments with a focus on precision and on-time departuresUse RF scanners and warehouse systems for receiving, put-away, inventory transactions, and cycle countsValidate inventory and maintain accurate recordsReplenish materials to the lines and relocate pallets as production needs shiftInspect forklifts daily and complete basic equipment checksVerify inbound and outbound shipments and report product damage promptlyKeep work areas clean and organized, following food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety standardsPitch in with other warehouse tasks as assignedWhat you bringHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious forklift experience (required)Warehouse or food manufacturing experience (preferred)Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Word)Strong organization, analytical thinking, and ability to multitaskCapacity to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsComfort with bending, twisting, reaching, and other physical warehouse dutiesWillingness to work weekends and mandatory overtime when neededReliable, safety-focused mindset; able to work independently or as part of a teamBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHow to applyApply in person Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM(Please bring two forms of identification)Nexus Employment7900 N Milwaukee Ave, Unit 12Niles, IL 60714Inside the Oak Mill Plaza MallJob Type: Full-timeEmployer: Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc.AI Disclosure:Our recruitment process may include AI-assisted tools to support candidate evaluation.
