Senior Optical Test Engineer - Silicon Photonics - MEMS - San Jose Lumicity is partnered with a growing, well-funded startup that is creating novel silicon photonic technology to address bottlenecks in AI processing. This is a high impact position with the company, where you will own how optical systems are measured from first prototype through to HVM. Compensation: Competitive Base + Equity

The skills needed for the role include

Hands-on experience building photonic / optical test stations from scratch and scaling them through to production Ability to build and debug optical measurement systems. Sound knowledge of optical instrumentation, including but not limited to; OSA, tunable lasers, OTDR/OFDR, BERT. Experience with wafer, die, or module-level characterization. Any experience automating test benches, using Python, would be advantageous.
