Facilities Manager

Bowhead seeks a Facilities Manager to support our customer in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services to support USSPACECOM facility requirements, facility maintenance and repair, and office space management

• Analyze functional needs and assist the Government in developing requirements for facilities housing USSPACECOM staff

• Compile space requirements for submission to USSPACECOM facilities utilization process

• Recommend office layouts and office moves to support USSPACECOM operations through floorplans and other visual media developed in appropriate computer-aided design (CAD) design tools

• Provide dedicated facility managers for the following facilities: Building 1 (Peterson SFB), 1670 Newport (leased facility in Colorado Springs), and 1110 Bayfield (leased facilities in Colorado Springs)

• Provide continuous on-site facility management coverage for Building 1 (Peterson SFB), seven (7) days per week (Sunday through Saturday), from 0600 to 2200 Mountain Time daily, excluding observed Federal Holidays (Coverage outside of this standard window may be required on an infrequent and intermittent basis including holidays, as directed by the Contracting Officer)

• Manage work requests for maintenance and repair of existing facilities and assigned office space

• Coordinate facility services provided by contractors such as pest control, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) cleaning and adjustment, minor office space repairs, etc.

• Escort contractors providing normal facility maintenance services such as pest control, HVAC cleaning, minor office space repairs, etc. and confirm the performance of facility services and/or corrections of facility deficiencies (Escort duties may be used on an ad hoc basis to supplement escorts)

• Provide for office moves and office reconfiguration services by coordinating these services through the appropriate government acquisition method

• Provide facility liaison support for USSPACECOM occupants in Building 24 (Schriever SFB) working with the existing government Building 24 facility manager (12 DOS)

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience

• 5+ years of DoD facility management background and experience

• Experience with scheduling and budgeting office moves and reconfiguration

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility.

Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Targeted salary range is $135,000 to $150,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
