We are excited to announce an opening for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our dedicated and mission-oriented team at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC) in Phoenix, Arizona. Our organization is a nonprofit, integrated medical group comprising over 450 healthcare providers across more than 25 medical and surgical specialties, serving the greater Phoenix area.

Position Overview

This role is centered around a consultation-focused MFM practice , providing a unique chance to deliver specialized, high-level care without the responsibilities of delivery. Physicians in this position will concentrate on high-risk obstetric consultations, advanced ultrasound techniques, prenatal diagnostics, and collaborative care. The practice is designed to promote both clinical excellence and a sustainable work-life balance.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide care in both clinic and hospital environments.
• Participate in shared home call coverage for VHMC and the Arizona Perinatal Program.
• Deliver comprehensive high-risk obstetric services, including ultrasound, diagnostic testing, genetic counseling, and diabetes education.

Teaching and Mentorship

This position offers significant opportunities for teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. MFM physicians will serve as core faculty for the Creighton University integrated OB/GYN Residency and MFM Fellowship, hosted at VHMC and St. Joseph's Hospital/Dignity Health. The program accommodates 32 residents and one MFM fellow annually, fostering a vibrant learning atmosphere.

Academic Affiliations

Our practice is further enhanced by academic partnerships with institutions such as Creighton University, the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, and Arizona State University. Physicians have the chance to achieve academic ranks and instruct medical students from these universities. Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Arizona.
