Cleveland Clinic's Diagnostic Institute is thrilled to announce an exciting career opportunity at the Cerebrovascular Center at Akron General Hospital. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Position Overview: Cleveland Clinic's Section of Neuroradiology is renowned for its expertise in imaging and diagnosing neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, and ear-nose-throat system issues. Patients from across the United States and around the world seek out our top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations in the neuro interventional radiology department
• Conduct peri-operative patient evaluations
• Assist in the OR with neurovascular and acute stroke patients
• Perform inpatient consults and follow-ups
• Provide patient education

While this role is not primarily procedural at this time, there are opportunities to perform lumbar punctures, subarachnoid drain placements, and first assist in NIR procedures. The position requires a commitment to Monday-Friday hours, though these may vary based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Practice experience in neurology, surgical, or acute care settings
