We are seeking a results-driven professional to increase sales productivity, revenue growth, and profitability by booking freight, managing customer relationships, acquiring new business, and resolving freight-related challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

• Procure and broker freight while providing quality transportation solutions to customers
• Maintain and grow key customer and carrier relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
• Negotiate rates, service and terms with prospective customers and carriers
• Bid on dedicated contract opportunities
• Increase capacity for specific projects and lanes
• Develop new business through prospecting, lead generation, and strategic outreach
• Monitor and identify industry and market trends to maintain competitive rates

Skills Preferred:

• Experience working in a freight brokerage, with understanding of freight operations, carrier management, and logistics processes
• Strong work ethic, ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven with the ability to plan strategically and focus on growth
• Proven sales expertise with a track record of building and maintaining long-term customer and carrier relationships
• Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including cold calling
• Ability to process information quickly and make sound, data-informed decisions
