Job Summary And Qualifications Performs maintenance and repair duties and assigned tasks having to do with hospital mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The operating engineer maintains and operates the building powerhouse/boiler system as required by city code. Maintain and repair non-patient contact hospital equipment, and various Life Safety systems. Orders parts and materials as needed. What qualifications you will need: High School Diploma or equivalent Current drivers license Experience with boilers and chillers; Class "A" Operating Engineers license preferred Various licenses/certifications depending on particular job assignments, e.g. CFC certification, backflow certification, specific equipment/systems training.
