CGP: AP Lead

Our Client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead for a Temp-to-Hire position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $23 to $25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the accounts payable team.
• Manage the processing of wire and electronic payments.
• Oversee the creation and review of payment proposals.
• Conduct monthly closing procedures and generate weekly reports.
• Offer guidance and support to AP staff, addressing queries and concerns.
• Handle invoice resolutions in collaboration with various departments.
• Manage petty cash and participate in special projects as needed.

Position Requirements:

• 2-4 years of accounting experience, with additional education in accounting being a plus.
• Proven experience in a lead or mentoring role within accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, especially with vlookups and pivot tables.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
