Agritek Recruiting is recruiting a Agronomy Sales for a leading ag retailer in the Emden, IL area. This is a full-time opportunity with an established employer that values safety, teamwork and taking care of its customers. It is a strong fit for someone with a background in agriculture who wants steady work close to home in rural Illinois.

What you'll do:

• Sell seed, fertilizer, crop protection and agronomy services to growers
• Scout fields and provide agronomic recommendations for fertility, crop protection and seed
• Grow market share in an assigned territory and build long-term grower relationships
• Work with location operations and application teams to execute plans
• Use precision ag data, soil sampling and yield data to support recommendations

What we're looking for:

• Agronomy, crop science or ag business degree, or equivalent ag sales experience
• Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) a plus
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organized and comfortable with territory travel
