The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors. Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the property, including hallways, common areas, and exterior grounds. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas. Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly. Ensure all entrances, walkways, and parking areas are clean and free of debris. Assist with setting up and breaking down community events or activities. Respond courteously to resident requests and inquiries. Follow all safety protocols and company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a porter, janitorial, or maintenance role is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The Porter will be required to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
