We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.Practice Highlights:Average of 7-8 patients per dayPRN coverage for growing northern New Mexico palliative care teamMulti disciplinary team to deploy on patient's behalfResponsibilitiesAssumes the attending role for hospice/palliative care patients in the community and in Presbyterian hospice units, unless followed by their PCP.As a consultant, works with patient and family to develop a recommended plan of care supports appropriate medical treatment in concordance with the patient’s goals of care.Uses clinical skills to relieve the suffering of patients and their families.Provides support and oversight of the work of the hospice/palliative care team RN, APN or PAs direct patient care activities, as required by Medical Staff Bylaws.Additional Job Description:MD/DO in a primary medical field appropriate to ABHPM standards. Prefer fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
