Licenses/Certs: Active Nurse Practitioner license in MA; BLS required

Experience: Prior experience in internal medicine preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide on-site medical consults within the inpatient psychiatric unit for treating medical issues such as sore throats, rashes, diabetes management, and medication consults (behavioral health NOT involved).
• Support inpatient rounding on a 20-bed unit, collaborating with social workers, nurses, and mid-level providers.
• Manage patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for adult patients.
• Document care plans accurately and adhere to facility protocols.
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled urgent/consultation needs during clinical hours.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and documentation standards.

What You Need:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in internal or adult medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

This full-time, on-site role is based at a facility in Natick, MA, focusing on adult inpatient medical care within a supportive team environment. The team includes mid-level providers, social workers, and nurses, ensuring comprehensive patient support. No behavioral health interventions are involved.
