Your role in our mission includes:

• Organize and read electronic distribution of orders (EDO) and sales orders, including notes, to determine what components are needed.
• Retrieve correct components to fulfill orders.
• Distribute components to assembly or staging area in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery of orders.
• Communicate with supervisor to rectify problems such as shortages and defective covers.
• Monitor stock quantities and turn in Kanban cards to purchasing group and cutting department.
• Return unneeded items to stock including covers and foams.
• Communicate with purchasing group to rectify problems, such as damages, and shortages.
• Perform inventory audits.
• Communicate with fabrication department and supervisor/lead on material substitutions to ensure on time delivery of order.
• Process material substitution or inventory adjustments with purchasing group.
• Assist in daily completion of "Cover List" for the sewing department.
• Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, regulations, ISO procedures, lean initiatives, and lean events.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Maintain 5S program.
• Assist in other departments to ensure products are completed on time.
• Maintain Kanban system and participate in cycle counts.
• Report stocked out items through Electronic Distribution of Orders (EDO).
• Check in "Cover List" covers delivered by sewing department.

What you'll bring:
