Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced ICU RN to provide specialized care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The nurse will deliver quality patient care while adhering to facility protocols and clinical best practices.

Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond swiftly to changes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records.
Adhere to hospital safety policies, including nicotine-free and smoke-free requirements.
Complete mandatory modules and certifications prior to start date.

Qualifications:

Hold an active RN license and meet state requirements.
Possess at least 18 months of recent ICU (MICU) experience; 2 years preferred.
Have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (or obtain before start).
Demonstrate EPIC electronic health record experience.
Be nicotine-free with a negative 10 Panel drug screen.
Be willing to float within scope across three hospitals as needed.
