This role resolves supplier friction and cost overruns by executing strategic RFx processes, evaluating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and establishing high-impact vendor relationships. The position streamlines purchasing workflows while directly driving measurable cost-saving outcomes enterprise-wide.What Success Looks Like (Objectives):Partner with Business Units, Operations, and Analytics teams to competitively source goods and services while achieving target cost-saving goalsExecute end-to-end purchasing processes; managing RFx events, supplier contracts, requisitions, and purchase orders across the enterpriseEnforce corporate supply chain policies, regulatory guidelines, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance across all business transactionsLeverage AI-driven market intelligence tools to analyze vendor data, optimize supplier selection, and enhance procurement forecasting capabilitiesSkills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):Strategic sourcing expertise and advanced negotiation skills tailored to complex corporate IT environmentsDeep knowledge of total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, commodity research, and end-to-end contract managementAI Application fluency to evaluate supplier data, streamline vendor automated processing setups, and optimize procurement workflowsProficiency in enterprise procurement platforms, specifically Oracle Purchasing systems, ERP, and database management toolsComprehensive understanding of regulatory standards, corporate governance, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance principlesExceptional problem-solving abilities, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills in fast-paced environmentsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation, commodity management, and business analysisMust have at least 8 years of experience with:ERP platforms including Oracle Purchasing capabilitiesEnd-to-end RFx execution and contract negotiationData management tools, database reporting, and automated PO/invoice processing (EDI or cXML)Visa sponsorship not available for this roleSalary RangesCompensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
