The Academy Early Learning Centers

The Academy Early Learning Centers is looking for dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. We are committed to creating a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Our teachers play an important role in creating that experience. We are looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children, work well as part of a team, and take pride in providing high-quality care and early education.

What You'll Do

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Build positive and caring relationships with children and families.
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum, activities, and learning experiences.
• Encourage learning through play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
• Support children's social-emotional development and positive classroom behavior.
• Follow daily classroom routines, including meals, rest time, outdoor play, learning activities, and transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
• Complete required classroom documentation and communicate important information with families and leadership.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership.
• Follow all Texas Child Care Licensing requirements and The Academy's policies and procedures.
• Participate in required training, staff meetings, school events, and professional development.
• Help create the positive, professional culture we expect throughout The Academy.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine love for working with young children.
• Is dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.
• Communicates respectfully with children, families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Is patient, energetic, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
• Is willing to learn and grow as an early childhood educator.
• Can meet all Texas Child Care Licensing requirements for employment in a licensed child care center.
• Previous child care, preschool, teaching, or early childhood experience is preferred but not required for all positions.
