How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Pre-Operative Risk Mitigation: Leverage your deep clinical expertise to conduct meticulous, in-depth patient interviews and comprehensive chart reviews, proactively identifying and mitigating any medical anomalies or risk factors that could potentially impact the surgical outcome.
• Interdisciplinary Clearance: Drive seamless patient preparation by initiating necessary physician consultations and ordering essential pre-operative diagnostics to ensure timely clinical clearance for the scheduled procedure.
• Comprehensive Patient Education: Serve as the patient's critical point of counsel, delivering thorough education and guidance on the surgical procedure, required preparatory steps, post-operative logistics (timing, transportation), and planning for their inpatient stay or recovery.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
