This role is ideal for an attorney seeking autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Strategy & Litigation ManagementDevelop and execute litigation strategy across a portfolio of personal injury casesEvaluate liability, damages, and case value to drive optimal outcomesManage cases through all stages of litigation, from filing through trialFull Litigation LifecycleDraft and file pleadings, written discovery, and motionsTake and defend depositionsAttend hearings, mediations, and court appearancesPrepare cases for trial, including trial strategy and witness preparationTeam LeadershipLead and manage a dedicated support team, including paralegals and administrative staffDelegate effectively and ensure all case milestones are metFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environmentClient ManagementMaintain consistent and clear communication with clients throughout the litigation processManage expectations and provide strategic guidanceAdvocate for clients with professionalism and urgencyNegotiation & SettlementNegotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counselLeverage case knowledge and litigation strategy to maximize recoveryIdentify when to settle versus proceed to trialCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to all deadlines, statutes, and court requirementsMaintain accurate case management and documentationWork closely with support staff to track all critical milestonesQualificationsActive membership in the California State Bar3–5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experienceProven experience handling cases through all stages of litigationStrong motion writing, deposition, and oral advocacy skillsDemonstrated ability to manage and lead a legal support teamExperience negotiating settlements and handling high-value casesTrial experience preferredProficiency in case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or similar)
