JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Surgery

Shift Timings : 06:30-17:00 Monday to friday (4 days/10 Hours)

Per Week : 40 Hours

6 OR rooms, one is Urology. Orthopedics, General, Robotics and Urology. No Cardiovascular, no trauma, no Neuro.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

• OR RN with minimum of 3 years experience.
• Able to take call one evening per week and one-two weekends per month.
• We have first and second call on the weekends. Able to take holiday call. Able to scrub a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN OR Surgery experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Kansas RN state license
• One year of Cerner experience

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
