The role involves providing care in a critical access hospital setting. The facility has a total of 7 rooms with 2 dedicated to labor. Patient ratios are 2 nurses per shift. The unit conducts approximately 8 deliveries monthly. Typical equipment includes an electronic medical record system. Required skills include strong labor and delivery experience. Preferred skills include ACLS and fetal monitoring. The ideal candidate is independent and confident in their skills. Comfort in a small setting is essential. Scrubs are facility-issued with a specific color standard. Weekend hours are minimal, limited to covering staff PTO. There are no call requirements for this position. The environment is busy but offers a small-town feel. There are numerous community events and cultural attractions throughout the year. The surrounding area features outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.
