Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,603 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25.70 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse — Night Shift — located in the healthcare provider’s hospital setting. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to meet patient needs. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC).
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units, previous neuro experience, with remote Tele experience highly preferred.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient status, developing care plans, performing bedside point-of-care testing, and participating in performance improvement activities.
• Additional responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, prioritizing tasks for patients with complex problems, and effective communication with team members.
